Sky Blues sink to Swans defeat

Sky Blues sink to Swans defeat

Coventry City squandered an early opportunity to take the lead against Swansea City on Saturday and paid the price when the visitors scored in the second-half to claim all three points.

Sammy Clingan dragged a penalty wide after a handball and despite some patient play, City failed to create any other clear-cut chances.

One goal always looked likely to win the game and it was Swansea who got it, heading back to Wales with an important win.

expected a different reaction from the players to what was a disappointing second half performance. Again you come with high hopes but the team cannot seem to take the next step.
