Squad depth is Easter bonus

Squad depth is Easter bonus

Two games in the space of three days over Easter not only brought four points for the Sky Blues, they also indicated that Micky Adams now has real options at his disposal when it comes to making changes to his side.

The side that gained a decent 2-1 win at Luton on Saturday, had no Shaw, Page, Scowcroft, Thornton, Wise, Adebola, Jorgensen or Giddings in the starting line-up.

Although a couple of those players were injured, Adams was still able to make a number of changes for the Leicester game to keep his side fresh.

With Isaac Osbourne set to come back next season and money available for some new faces, there should be real competition for places.
