'If It's Football, It's Vital'

New challenge for Michael Doyle

28 year old City midfielder Doyle has opted for regular first team football in League One with Leeds United.

Deemed at the end of last season as surplus to requirements at the Ricoh he has teamed up with Simon Grayson's side on a loan deal for the whole of the 2009/2010 sason.

He has been with the Sky Blues since the summer of 2003. He gives a 100% each time he plays but by his standards the last two season's have been a disappointment so maybe a change of scenery is needed by him.

Personally I am not a Doyle fan but to let him go on loan when we are clearly very short of players is a very strange decision. I am hoping that it is a ploy to build a good relationship with Leeds and get Beckford.
