City patched up for cup test

Coventry City`s already small and injury-hit squad will be without four key players for this week`s League Cup tie against Hartlepool United.

Chris Coleman is likely to name a number of youngsters in his side as he is without four players on international duty.

Keiren Westwood and Leon Best (Republic of Ireland), Sammy Clingan (Northern Ireland) and Aron Gunnarsson (Iceland) are all away with their countries and miss the Ricoh Arena clash.

The last meeting between the two sides also came in this competition, Willie Carr's penalty settling a 2nd Round tie at highfield Road in 1972.
