Everton set to make Marcus's day

Everton set to make Marcus's day

Coventry City fans can temporarily forget a dismal summer for their team in terms of good news and pay tribute to stalwart defender Marcus Hall this Sunday.

Everton provide the opposition for what is set to be a well-supported testimonial at the Ricoh Arena for the 33-year-old, veteran of over 300 games in two spells for the Sky Blues.

Any thoughts Marcus may have had about taking it easy this season of course have been blown away by the recent sale of Danny Fox, a deal which could see Hall make many more appearances than either he or Chris Coleman bargained for.

Fresh from a pre-season tour of the USA, FA Cup finalists Everton are set to provide strong opposition to Coleman's illness and injury-hit squad.

'The Coventry game will be another test for us and we will be up for it,' midfielder Leon Osman told the official Toffees website.
