City face a Long wait for £2m striker

Linked with a £2 million move to Coventry City by some media reports, Shaun Long has insisted he is happy at Reading and not looking for a summer move.

78 of the 22 year-old Republic of Ireland international's 98 league appearances have come as substitute but the summer departure of Kevin Doyle to Wolves for £6.5 million may open up more opportunities for him.

Quoted in the Maidenhead Advertiser, Long has said he is looking forward to working under new manager Brendan Rodgers.
