Chris Coleman has held meetings with chairman Ray Ranson and members of the SISU consortium and declared himself happy that his squad will be strengthened over the next few weeks but he must be looking slightly anxiously at the amount of money being spent elsewhere in the division with Cardiff City, Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United in particular having been busy this week.

One player to leave the Ricoh Arena, not unexpectedly, is midfielder Kevin Thornton, whose contract has been terminated 'by mutual consent'.
