City's two 'new' signings

City's two 'new' signings

Coventry City are yet to enter the transfer market ahead of the 2009/10 season but two players signed last season by Chris Coleman will be like new additions to the Sky Blues squad as they report back for pre-season.

James McPake and David Bell made just 14 appearances between them after their moves from Livingston and Norwich respectively, injury problems cutting short their campaigns.

Both however showed more than enough in that short period of time to suggest that they will be first team regulars in the future, McPake displaying a no nonsense streak in his defending and Bell linking up well with Danny Fox on the left-hand side and of course scoring City's goal of the season against Doncaster Rovers.
