Championship 2009/10: Doncaster Rovers

Recent record: Last season saw the first meeting between the two clubs since 1952 and both games were decided by superb goals.

Richie Wellens won it for the home side at the Keepmoat with a screamer while City took three points at the Ricoh thanks to David Bell's Beckham-esque strike.

Former Sky Blues: Matt Mills, who endured a nervous loan spell with City as a youngster, has matured into one of the Championship's top defenders and has been linked with a big-money move all summer.

Summer talking point: Can Rovers hang onto star men like Mills, Wellens and Brian Stock with Championship and Premier League clubs sniffing around?

Coming to Coventry: On Boxing Day.

The game can't surely be any worse than last season.
