Sky Blues to benefit as Sturridge deal nears

Sky Blues to benefit as Sturridge deal nears

Coventry City will get another nice little earner this summer when Daniel Sturridge completes his move from Manchester City to Chelsea.

The 19-year-old is out of contract at Eastlands, a situation that has sparked a scramble for his services.

Chelsea have won that particular race according to reports but will have to shell out a hefty sum in compensation, some of which will be diverted to the Ricoh Arena, with Sturridge having left Coventry as a 13-year-old to join the Man City academy.
