Sky Blues accept £3.5m skipper bids

Coventry City have allowed captain Scott Dann to talk to both Birmingham City and Wolverhampton Wanderers after both clubs had £3.5m bids accepted by the Sky Blues.

A move to Molineux looks favourite for the former Walsall man.

The Sky Blues have consistently said they will not sell their top players this summer unless someone pays what they think they are worth, which has evidently been the case with Dann, who joined the club in January 2008.

Richard Wood of Sheffield Wednesday has already been mentioned as a replacement and the banking of a hefty fee should see some movement inwards among Chris Coleman's top targets.

Not happy about that at all, I just hope the money get's ploughed back in to the transfer funds and we buy some decent replacements.

I agree it's not ideal but if a player wants to go what can you do? Even United decided to sell Ronaldo in the end!
