Dann latest: Blues go to £5m for top target
Coventry City skipper Scott Dann has been mooted as a central defensive target for Birmingham City this week but top target for the Premier League newcomers remains Cardiff City stopper Roger Johnson.
After the rejection of a £3.5m bid, Blues have returned with a new offer which, including add-ons could be worth £5m to the Bluebirds.
Cardiff however are determined to mount a promotion challenge in the first season of their new stadium and will not want to dampen spirits among their fans by selling a key player over the summer.
