Coventry City transfer talk: Week 6

Click here to read last week's transfer talk.

A host of comings and goings have been mooted for the Ricoh Arena this week but as yet no new signings are in the bag for Coventry City.

Jermaine Beckford's name remains firmly in the frame and he has been joined by Norwich City midfielder Sammy Clingan, likely to leave the Canaries after their relegation to League One.

Reports of a move for Portsmouth winger Glen Little have been shot down fairly quickly, while the Sky Blues are also said to be uninterested in a proposal from Birmingham that would see Gary McSheffrey rejoin the club plus cash in exchange for skipper Scott Dann.

Also linked with the exit door has been Robbie Simpson, a target for Brighton while Chris Coleman has confirmed both that he wants to keep Clinton Morrison at the club and that he is looking for a right-back to cover for and compete with Stephen Wright.
