Coventry City transfer talk: Week 5

The waiting game has begun in earnest for Coventry City after chairman Ray Ranson revealed that the club has now spoken to all of their top summer transfer targets and are just waiting for answers as the domestic season ends and football gets ready for a couple of weeks on the beach.

Jermaine Beckford of Leeds remains the most talked-about potential signing after he was transfer listed at Elland Road.

The Sky Blues and Middlesbrough have been joined by Sheffield United in the race to sign the hotshot.

Leeds are being linked with Michael Mifsud as his City contract enters its final few days while Dimi Konstantopoulos continues to be mentioned as a target for his former club Hartlepool.
