Sky Blue season highlights: Blackburn (h)

The culmination of an excellent run of form from Coventry City came in the FA Cup 5th Round replay against Blackburn in late February.

Having been denied at the death by the Premier League in the first game, the Sky Blues were deserved winners against a Blackburn team much changed by manager Sam Allardyce, with one eye on survival in the league.

The carrot of a home tie with Chelsea looked to spur City on and Leon Best netted a second-half winner to add to February wins over Wolves and Birmingham in the Championship.
