The Championship rumour mill is in full swing after the end of the regular season and a host of clubs are being linked with new signings and making way in their squads by freeing players.

Norwich City: Former Sky Blues star Darren Huckerby, a legendary figure at Carrow Road, has hinted at a playing return with the Canaries once the MLS season ends.

Nottingham Forest: Manager Billy Davies wants to bring most of the loan players who helped his side avoid relegation, with Dexter Blackstock (QPR) and Chris Gunter (Spurs) at the top of the list.

Plymouth Argyle: Blackburn striker Paul Gallagher, impressive on loan at Home Park this season, is wanted permanently by Plymouth this summer.

Queens Park Rangers: Swansea City midfielder Darren Pratley is reportedly a target for the West London club.

Sheffield Wednesday: Manager Brian Laws, linked with a move for Ipswich free agent Tommy Miller, has allowed Wade Small and Kenny Lunt to leave Hillsborough.

Swansea City: Queen of the South hotshot Stephen Dobbie will be hoping to emulate Jason Scotland's success after following him from Scottish Division One to the Liberty Stadium.
