Deserved recognition for City keeper

Deserved recognition for City keeper

Keiren Westwood has been named in the PFA's Championship team of the year, just recognition for a superbly consistent season from the Coventry City goalkeeper, who was signed from League One side Carlisle United last summer.

Despite City's lowly finish they were well-represented in the XI, with Daniel Fox being named as the division's best left-back by his peers.

Fox has clearly been one of the Sky Blues better performers this season but a few well-taken free-kick goals around the turn of the year may also have helped his cause.
