Championship: Magilton out at Ipswich

Championship: Magilton out at Ipswich

Sunday's East Anglian derby victory against Norwich City has come too late to save Ipswich boss Jim Magilton, sacked on Wednesday after failing to steer his side into the play-offs.

Ipswich, who face Coventry City on the final day of the season, hope to have a new manager in place by then, with Alan Pardew, Glenn Hoddle and Alan Curbishley early front-runners and Roy Keane also mentioned as a candidate.
