Tabb expecting '80/20' reception

Tabb expecting '80/20' reception

Jay Tabb lines up for Reading reserves on Wednesday night hoping to show he is fit for the clash with his former club Coventry City at the weekend.

"I picked up a slight thigh strain in the warm-up against Doncaster, but I feel fine now,' he told the Reading Evening Post.

"The plan is to play well in the reserves, get through that and hopefully get in the manager`s plans for Coventry.

"I am really looking forward to it and would love to play. Hopefully I will get a good reception. There are a few boo boys at every club, but I think it would be 80/20 in my favour.

'I was player of the year there and always had a good relationship with the fans."

Tabb has started only game for the Royals to date since his January switch to the Madejski Stadium.
