England debut for Sky Blues winger
Jordan Henderson caps a whirlwind couple of months with his England debut on Wednesday night, the on-loan Sunderland winger having been named in the Under-19 squad on the back of his Coventry City performances.
Chris Coleman has been impressed with the 18-year-old, who is well-regarded on Wearside as well and a season-long deal for next year must be a possibility.
'I think the fact that I have been at Coventry, playing first-team football, has got me the call-up,' Henderson told the Sunderland Echo.
'I think I have done OK. I've worked extremely hard to play every week and I am loving my football.
'England have obviously taken notice and want to see what I can do, so I am grateful for that and I just want to take this chance.
'I am sure there will be some important people watching the game, maybe the Under-21 coach or even the first-team coach, but I just need to forget about that and just go out and play my football.'
