Adams upbeat despite defeat

Micky Adams refused to rip into his Coventry City players after their long unbeaten run at the Ricoh Arena was ended by play-off chasing Preston on Saturday.

The Sky Blues never really got in a blow against Billy Davies' side and Adams said afterwards: 'We have set such fantastic standards at the Ricoh and I am not going to have a go at the players.

'We're disappointed but there is always a certain amount of hysteria here whether we win or lose.'
