Coventry deal in Hall but free Marshall

Chris Coleman is putting into place his plans for next season at the Ricoh Arena, and the Coventry City boss intends to offer Marcus Hall another deal.

The 32-year-old is set to celebrate his upcoming testimonial by staying at the club where he has made over 250 league appearances in two spells.

Fellow veteran Andy Marshall will end his time with the Sky Blues this summer however.

'He's been fantastic for us but with Dimi (Konstantopoulos) still having a year on his contract and young Danny Ireland coming through, keeping Andy would have been a luxury we can't afford,' said Coleman.

'I wanted to tell him sooner rather than later so he has time to fix something up.'

Star men Aron Gunnarsson, Danny Fox, Scott Dann and Keiren Westwood meanwhile, have all been offered new deals at the Ricoh Arena.
