Preston look for vital win

Coventry City travel to Deepdale on Saturday to face a Preston North End side desperate to return to winning ways and re-ignite their play-off push.

'We have eight games left now and we are looking to get 24 points from those eight games, whether that be at home or away,' said striker Jon Parkin, whose late goal against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday salvaged a point for the home side.

'We are professional footballers and we know what we need to do now. And we know if we don't do it, we are not going to get the rewards.'

Key man Ross Wallace limped out of the game against the Owls with a tight hamstring.
