Season tickets: City look for Chelsea surge

In the wake of the biggest ever attendance at the Ricoh Arena for a Coventry city fixture, the Sky Blues have announced their season ticket prices for the next campaign, claiming they are 'way cheaper than the other clubs in the Midlands.'

The Chelsea game saw many new fans making the trip out to the stadium.

"It was a great turnout and a good day, although obviously a disappointing result but the boys gave a decent show," chairman Ray Ranson told the Coventry Telegraph.

"It has given everyone a taste of what we can achieve here and that`s one of the reasons why we came to the club.'

While season tickets for JSB's and in Zone Three of the ground have been reduced however (meaning tickets priced at just over £11 per game), briefs in the most expensive part of the ground have been pushed up from £390 to £420.

Have your say on this issue. Vital Coventry are running a poll on the season ticket prices and there is also a forum topic up and running, here.

did think that they would freeze or reduce prices and maybe look at why and how Norwich are so good at selling season tickets.
