'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Blades in confident mood

Coventry City host Sheffield United in the Championship on Wednesday night, and the visitors arrive in good spirits after a win at home to Birmingham City on Sunday.

The Blades are firmly in the hunt for a play-off place, and with the top three all faltering, have not given up hope of automatic promotion.

'It's a massive confidence boost to beat Birmingham,' said defender Matt Kilgallon.

'We started well and were in control throughout. This has given us a lot of belief and hopefully we can keep going now.

'At the moment it seems nobody wants to win this league.

'I watched the results on Saturday and just couldn't believe what was happening with all the results going our way, so we knew we had a massive opportunity.

'We were saying before the game that we are due the rub of the green and after 'Morgs' (Chris Morgan) had scored an unfortunate own goal, I suppose we got that - although I haven't seen the penalty decision.'
