Cup countdown: Mourinho to help Sky Blues?

Chris Coleman and Jose Mourinho built up a friendship while in charge of West London rivals Fulham and Chelsea and the Coventry City boss is pondering a call to the Portuguese ahead of Saturday's big FA Cup clash.

Coleman told the Sunday People: 'I've spoke to him once since I've been at Coventry and I always feel I can ring him, maybe before the Chelsea game...'

Tongue in cheek perhaps from the Sky Blues boss, but the story is one of a number that will appear in the national press over the next few days, a sure sign that City are enjoying a rare moment in the spotlight.

Go on Chris make that call. You never know Jose might give you that nugget of info that can help the sky blues take another scalp...
