'If It's Football, It's Vital'

All about the league for Blackburn boss

Sam Allardyce could not help but focus on next weekend's league meeting with Hull City after defeat for his Blackburn side at Manchester United on Saturday evening.

That despite the FA Cup trip to Coventry on Tuesday.

'I am anxious about where we are,' he said.

'A point would have helped us kick on into the Hull game next week.

'Now we must try to do what we have not been able to do since I have been here and win away from home.

'The clubs above us are now pulling away. The amount of clubs involved at the bottom is reducing.

'We have to make sure we are not stuck down there.

'We have to keep the faith. We are good enough but we have to be determined and resilient enough as well.'
