Reading complete Sky Blues swoop

Reading complete Sky Blues swoop

Jay Tabb, whose Coventry City contract was due to expire in the summer, has joined Championship promotion hopefuls Reading for an undisclosed fee.

Royals chairman Sir John Madejski said: 'I would like to welcome Jay to Reading and I sure his signing will strengthen our squad as we push for an immediate return to the Premier League.

'We are entering a crucial final stage of the season and Jay's signing will bolster a squad that has already well so far this season.'

24-year-old Tabb joined City from Brentford in the summer of 2006 and made 95 league appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals.
