Sky Blues secure defender signature

Coventry City defender Ben Turner has celebrated his recent return to the first-team picture by signing a contract extension at the Ricoh Arena until 2011.

'We see young players like himself as part of the future that we are trying to build at this club,' chairman Ray Ranson told the official Sky Blues website.

Saturday's game at QPR was Turner's 29th league appearance in a City shirt.
