'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Westwood going nowhere' says Coleman

Chris Coleman has reinstated that he will not be taking bricks out of the wall as part of the building developments at the club.

The reassurance to fans came after intense speculation from an unnamed source claiming that a deal could be on the cards to take the Sky Blue`s highly rated Irish keeper, Kieren Westwood, to Everton for a fee believed to be around £4 Million.

Coleman, in a post match interview told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire that Kieran Westwood, nor any other player would be going anywhere unless an unbelievable, too good to turn down offer came through and that he`d had no contact as of yet with David Moyes or any other manager on the sale of Westwood.

He also reassured fans that Westwood was ill and that was the reason for his absence in yesterday's 2-0 FA Cup win over Kidderminster Harriers where Andy Marshall was filling in between the sticks.

24 year old goalkeeper, Westwood, has only been with the club for just over three months and is being dubbed as being one of the best up and coming keepers outside the premier league.

He has already played a vital part in CCFC`s re-building campaign keeping 7 league clean sheets and pulling off a handful of impressive saves to keep the opposition`s forwards at bay.
