'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sky Blue 2008 - April

A late Sheffield Wednesday equaliser at Hillsborough was followed by defeats against Watford and Stoke.

Colchester were brushed aside at Layer Road before Kasper Schmeichel inspired City to take a home point off Wolves.

'Their keeper has made some unbelievable saves,' said Wolves striker Andy Keogh afterwards.

'There was the one from me he pushed on to the bar and from Sylvan right at the end he's made another one.

'Sometimes you have to hold your hand up and say, 'really good keeper''

That left City with just one game to play, away at Charlton Athletic and what should have been a fairly stress-free Sunday...
