Crewe boss down ahead of City game

Coventry City travel to Crewe on Saturday looking to get their third away win of the season in the league and keep alive the chance of a play-off place.

Crewe, who beat the Sky Blues on the final day of last season to stay in the Championship, look doomed to relegation this time around.

Last weekend's 1-0 defeat by Hull City left them 10 points adrift of safety and manager Dario Gradi said after the game: 'I think we needed to win the game and even a draw wouldn't probably have been good enough.

'This was a game we had to win really, so now we've got to go to somewhere like Crystal Palace and win, which is a bit unlikely.

'It is not impossible, but it's not likely - that is just being realistic.

'There's no good me standing here saying we can do it.

'I thought we needed to win today, so that is a big blow to us.

'I think we will now have to go out and win three games on a roll to stand a chance.'

If you flog them I think the Crewe will jump ship.

It should be an easy win though, as they area bit down.
