Championship: Blackpool lose boss to Leeds
Despite being denied permission to talk to Leeds United, Simon Grayson has left Blackpool to take the vacant manager's job at Elland Road.
A statement on the Blackpool website read: 'Blackpool FC can confirm that Simon Grayson tendered his resignation on Tuesday morning.
'The resignation was not accepted by the board of directors and the club are now considering legal action against both Grayson and Leeds.'
Coventry City next face the Seasiders at the Ricoh Arena on 17 January.
