Swansea seek end to run of draws

Swansea seek end to run of draws

The fixture computer has not been kind to Coventry City and their fans, presenting them with a Boxing Day trip to Swansea, and the hosts are determined to make it a long trip back for the Sky Blues.

Roberto Martinez's side have adapted well to life in the Championship but early hopes of a play-off push have stalled with a recent run of draws, that started with the visit to the Ricoh Arena in late November.

That was the first game missed by Swans' star man Ferrie Bodde after he sustained a serious injury and fellow midfielder Darren Pratley is desperate to show that Swansea were far from a one-man team.

Pratley said: 'If we keep playing well, hopefully we'll get the three points instead of one.

'It gets us moving up the table and gets you [the media] to stop talking about Ferrie.'

Coventry's away form has been good this season and they will be hoping for another decent result at the Liberty Stadium.
