Will Sky Blues add to Magilton pressure?

Will Sky Blues add to Magilton pressure?

Coventry City want a home win on Saturday but a victory for visitors Ipswich would go a long way to easing the pressure on manager Jim Magilton.

Already under-fire from fans after an inconsistent season and defeat in the East Anglian derby, Magilton has taken exception this week to local newspaper reports of a 'secret meeting' with some of his players that has reportedly led to dressing room unrest.

He told BBC Suffolk: 'I think the people of East Anglia want us to get promoted, I think my players want to get promoted but I think all the press are doing everything they can not for us to get promoted.'

Youngster Connor Whickham is travelling with the Blues, who have Ben Thatcher, Owen Garvan and Alex Bruce suspended.

Chris Coleman though could have more options than in recent weeks, Leon McKenzie and Stephen Wright both close to full fitness.
