'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Full-back in, full-back out for City

Gary Borrowdale has left Coventry City for Queens Park Rangers, signing a loan deal until the end of the year at Loftus Road.

'Things have gone a bit stale for me since the change in management at Coventry, but I've got every belief in my own ability,' heBorrowdale, third-choice left-back at the Ricoh Arena, told QPR's official website.

'It's a fresh start for me and I'm looking forward to the challenge.'

Meanwhile the right-back position is proving to be as big a problem for Chris Coleman as it was for his predecessor Iain Dowie.

Stephen Wright and Isaac Osbourne limped off against Swansea on Tuesday night, signalling an urgent search for a loan signing before Thursday.

'We are going to have to do something really quick,' admitted Coleman after watching his side battle back for a 1-1 draw.

He must have something lined up, or really not rate Borrowdale. I think it's a decent move for us (QPR), we have been crying out for an out and out full back for a while. I think it's strange timing from Coleman considering he's desperate for players in that area.

It's aright-back he's desperate for really. We have Fox and Marcus Hall at left-back

its pretty obvious that borrowdale has left because they must have someone in mind. QPR havent exactly struck gold or silver for that matter.
