Beware! Sutton United are still in the FA Cup

The name of one of the teams taking part in this weekend's FA Cup 1st Round fixtures will send a shiver down the spine of Coventry City fans.

Sutton United, famous for their 2-1 win over the then-first division Sky Blues in 1989, take on Notts County at the same venue, Gander Green Lane.

'In and around the club you do hear about that day all the time,' admits player-coach Steve Mckimm told the official FA website.

'It was clearly a very big event for the players and the fans, and it was a great time for the club.

'But this is our chance to make our own history.

'To get to the Third Round and be in the hat with the big boys would be a fantastic achievement for everyone at the club, and you don't get opportunities like this every day.'
