'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Can Clinton do it again?

Clinton Morrison saw off one of his former clubs on Monday, his goal against Birmingham City securing three points for the Sky Blues.

Now with three goals in as many games under his belt, the in-form forward takes on the club he left last summer, Crystal Palace as they come to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.

'I definitely won't celebrate if I score - and that is 150% certain,' the 29-year-old told the Coventry Telegraph.

'As much as I get excited and do feel like running off and doing it, Palace is my club.

'I will be trying my hardest to score but I have too much respect for the fans - I would never celebrate and rub it in their faces.'

The Republic of Ireland international scored over 100 league goals for the Eagles in two spells at Selhurst Park, and his former team-mates are well aware of his threat.

'Clint will be delighted that Palace is coming up, especially when he's banged in three goals in three games,' defender Clint Hill has been quoted as saying, in the South London Press.

'He'll feel he's got a point to prove.

'He's a proven scorer at this level. He won't get 30-yarders but will be on the end of things five or six yards out, the tap-ins that every club needs.'

Morrison is a best-priced 13/2 to net the first goal at the weekend. Click here to vist oddschecker and look at all the markets for the match.
