Wise to land new deal?

39-year-old Dennis Wise has made a massive impact at the Ricoh Arena since joining on a short-term deal in January.

As well as his presence giving the City side a lift, his displays on the field have been none too shabby, scoring five times and having a hand in a number of other goals.

Wise is still on the lookout for a managerial post but if none come up then a further season with the Sky Blues could be on the cards.

Adams said: “If he continues to play like he has been he would have a compelling case for earning another contract.”
