Arsenal starlet unlikely to face Sky Blues

Arsenal starlet unlikely to face Sky Blues

Derby County come to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday looking to bounce back quickly from Tuesday night's defeat at Blackpool.

They may have to do so however without on-loan Arsenal starlet Nacer Barazite.

He suffered a knee injury at Bloomfield Road, to add to the loss of Martin Albrechtsen, Stephen Pearson and Steve Davies.

'Nacer will have a scan tomorrow - it's his medial knee ligaments but we will know the severity then,' Paul Jewell told the Derby Telegraph.

'We are stretched a bit but it is no good moaning about it. We just have to get on with it.

'We have got a few injuries but that is part and parcel of the game and is why you need people to be ready if they are called on.'

Australian international Mile Sterjovski is likely to deputise after impressing as a substitute on Tuesday.
