'True Sky Blue' scheme launched

Coventry City have announced plans for their new 'True Sky Blue' scheme which gives fans the chance to legally own their seat within the Ricoh Arena for a one-off payment on top of regular season ticket costs.

Other benefits, according to the club website include a season ticket at the previous season's price for the first Premiership season if we are promoted together with discounts in the club shop, a personalised name plate and welcome pack.

Current season ticket holders are being given the chance to sign up for the scheme in a series of meetings with the club hierarchy with all of the money raised being used to benefit either the first-team or the club's academy.

It's an interesting idea but it's hard to see more than a few hundred people being able to afford the extra money on top of their season tickets...
