Coventry City - 10 game comparison

Coventry City - 10 game comparison

'Judge us after 10 games' is often the mantra of managers in pre-season and that milestone has been reached for the 2008/09 campaign.

Coventry City have taken 15 points from a potential 30, with a record of 4 wins, 3 draws and 3 defeats.

Iain Dowie's side last season had an identical record of 15 points from 4 wins, 3 draws and 3 defeats.

In front of goal it's 12 this season against 14 in 2007/08 while at the other end, Chris Coleman's boys have conceded 10, against 14 in the last campaign.

So almost an exact replica of last season at this stage but whereas City look to be improving slowly but surely under Coleman, the first two months of last season were the high point of the campaign, as the financial crisis began to hit hard.
