Blackpool buoyant ahead of City clash

Coventry City travel to Bloomfield Road on Saturday, the scene of a 4-0 horror show last season, and will face a Blackpool side in good spirits after their win at promotion favourites Birmingham.

'Everyone was feeling down after the Burnley game but now we're all feeling really happy and positive and can't wait for this Saturday's game against Coventry,' captain Rob Edwards told the Blackpool Gazette.

'In terms of how far we can go you just never know. The sky is the limit.'

Andy Morrell left the Seasiders in the summer but Claus Jorgensen is likely to face his former side, who enjoyed a less than merry Christmas trip to the coast in 2007/08.
