Game of two halves but City edge it

Coventry City turned in an impressive first-half display and then rode their luck in the second 45 minutes to notch a 1-0 win over QPR on Saturday.

Elliott Ward responded to his missed penalty against Sheffield United in midweek by stepping up to take an early spot-kick and seal all three points.

City now lie 8th in the Championship, level on points with 6th-placed Reading.

Christ that second half was a mauling, we should have scored, but credit to the defence, particularly Elliott Ward, great performance
