City throw away two points

Coventry City turned in an excellent display at Sheffield United on Tuesday night but will be left to rue allowing the 10-man Blades to escape with a share of the spoils.

Jay Tabb put the Sky Blues in front and Elliott Ward missed a penalty after which the Blades, reduced to 10 men after Sun Jihai was dismissed, conjured up an equaliser through Billy Sharp.

Leon Best then wasted a glorious chance to win the game in the final seconds.

You deserved the win we were very poor. But you need to be much much better up front, that miss at the end was unforgiveable. If we had the chances you did, you would have taken a right pasting, but unfortunately we didn't and you earned a good point
