Coventry City potential loan targets - strikers

The loan window opens next week for Football League clubs and players from the top-flight are sure to be sought after in the Championship as the season begins to take shape.

Coventry City will be in the market for a new face or two and Vital Coventry looks here at potential signings.

Chris Coleman has a number of strikers at his disposal and is unlikely to be adding to his squad in this department.

If he did want a new face up front however, a number of Premier League players are being linked with Championship sides including Andy Carroll of Newcastle United (a target for Crystal Palace and Ipswich), Ched Evans of Manchester City (Cardiff) and Bolton Wanderers' Heidar Helguson.
