'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Do England still do it for you?

After another transfer deadline day filled with big-money transfers and ever increasing Premier League hype, England take centre-stage this week with the first two of their qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup.

Recent results under Steve McClaren and now Fabio Capello have done little to re-ignite the passion people have for their national team and neither has the appearance of the same old faces in the squad time after time.

Capello has taken the first steps towards changing that with the call-up of Jimmy Bullard and no-one will be accusing the Fulham midfielder of lacking commitment to the cause if he gets his big chance.

So do the players still have your support? Will you be firmly focused on the Andorra game this weekend or will you be pining for the Sky Blues to get back into Championship action?

england is important, it is our country and hopefully we wish them well. You wonder if the players have the pride and passion. They certainly talk 'patriotism'.
