'If It's Football, It's Vital'

September preview

Coventry City do not have a game until September 13 but face five Championship fixtures before the month is out.

Chris Coleman's side look to recover from two poor performances when they entertain unbeaten Preston at home a week on Saturday.

A tough trip to Sheffield United in midweek is followed by the return of Iain Dowie to the Ricoh Arena on the 20th.

The month ends with two away trips, to the seaside on the 27th as City look for a better result at Blackpool than last season's hammering and then a midweek journey to Cardiff.
