Palace make late move for £1.5m striker

Michael Mifsud may be leaving Coventry City but his future destination remains unclear.

Personal terms on a £1.5m move to Bristol City have not been hammered out as of Monday afternoon and reports have emerged suggesting that Neil Warnock may look to take the Maltese star to Crystal Palace.

Whatever happens, Mifsud's boats at Coventry look to have been burnt and he will not be joining the club on it's mini-tour of Scotland even if his move does not materialise.

'I don't see the reason for him to travel to Scotland if it isn't done,' Chris Coleman told the Coventry Telegraph.

'Because he wants to move on and I said as soon as I came through the door that I don't want to keep anyone who doesn't want to be here, because whether they are a fans' favourite or not, if they don't want to play for the club they shouldn't be here.'

He'd do well with the service you provide. Needs a good strong manager to keep him on track.
