Coventry City transfer talk - week 12

After a summer when most of the transfer focus at Coventry City has been on arrivals, it has been the possible departures of Michael Mifsud and Kevin Kyle that have dominated this week.

The Sky Blues are still active buyers however and a number of potential signings remain in the frame.

David Bell - The midfielder has completed his move to opening-day opponents Norwich City despite reported late interest from the Sky Blues.

Martin Cranie - Portsmouth's England Under-21 international defender is thought to be a loan target for both Coventry and Charlton.

Glenn Loovens - The chase for the Dutch defender looks to have been taken out of the Sky Blues' league, with Rangers maintaining their interest in the player.

Clinton Morrison - A groin injury has delayed any decision on whether the Republic of Ireland international striker will be offered a City deal after linking up with the squad for pre-season training.

Stephen Wright - Ex-Liverpool and Sunderland man Wright remains in talk over a deal at the Ricoh Arena after being part of the club's pre-season build-up. Chris Coleman told the Coventry Telegraph this week: 'Stephen Wright, who we hope to be signing, has looked good and strong. He wants to stay and we want him to sign.'

what's the opinion on Coleman - is he the right man for the job?

Only time will tell but he had the team playing decent football when he came in and he has pursued players in the right positions this summer.
